Rasnat Chowdhury (she/her) is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Arts Psychology Degree from York University, and a Social Service Worker Diploma from Humber College. Rasnat has worked in various social service settings, such as child welfare, education, and residential. Currently, Rasnat is supporting several research projects related to child welfare in Ontario, Atlantic Canada, and British Columbia. Furthermore, Rasnat is supporting with program evaluations for community-based programs. Her research interests are focused on child welfare, family violence, and their intersection.
