Kim is a recent graduate of the Gender Studies and Equity Studies program at the University of Toronto. Her strong interest in anti-racist, anti-oppressive knowledge has drawn her towards building a future in activism and research, with past contributions to research on supportive housing models and homelessness in Toronto. In addition to her research, she engages in advocacy through Anakbayan, a Filipino youth activist organization fighting for national democracy in the Philippines.
