Anysha Reid is a recent Master's graduate from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. Committed to addressing the underrepresented needs of women and girls in society, she has dedicated her research to this cause. Her journey began during her tenure as a board member for Project Agape, a not-for-profit organization that combats intimate partner violence through an anti-Black racism lens. This experience, along with her internship at Women's College Hospital, fueled her passion for understanding the complex interplay between hormonal health and women's mental health and diagnoses. Her research now focuses on this crucial area, aiming to improve the well-being of women and girls.
